Shoreline Restoration

Our approach to shorelines is highly site dependent. It typically involves a combination of deep rooted emergent and wet native prairie plants installed with temporary erosion control products. This assumes that site conditions will ultimately be favorable after plants are established. However, hybrid solutions may include permanent erosion control matting and other techniques, especially where wave action is intense.

In some situations the only thing that will work is some type of hardened system like rip rap. In that case we will refer you to specialists who do that type of work. Every shoreline is unique and we look forward to exploring options with our customers.
